Since breaking out onto the scene in 2019, Yeat has crafted his way to the top of the rap game and has found himself with a solid core fanbase. There are very few artists who have such a solid fanbase like that, Playboi Carti is the only other rapper that comes to mind. During his Coachella set last month, Yeat debuted a brand new cover that took the fans by surprise. We find the rapper channeling his 2016 Drake, to cover Drizzy’s hit single ‘Feel No Ways’. The remix actually caught his fans off guard as they aren’t used to him releasing music of this nature.

Swapping out Drake’s production for a much darker, more hypnotic tone. He has infused the track with his signature autotuned sound, providing the perfect blend for his current fans and people that might discover him off this track alone. One thing you can say about Yeat, is the fact he lets his art do the talking, avoiding pretty much all press and interviews. That’s exactly what he does here, showing a willingness to expose deeper layers to his character.
