Erick The Architect brings Ghostface Killah & Fergie Baby together on ‘YERR’

Erick the Architect is gearing up for his next solo chapter, announcing his highly anticipated second solo album and first full-length release for Mass Appeal, arriving 22nd January 2027. Alongside the announcement, the Brooklyn-born artist delivers ‘YERR’, a hard-hitting new single that brings together two generations of New York rap in Ghostface Killah and Fergie Baby.

Built around a self-produced beat, ‘YERR’ wastes little time making its presence felt. Harlem rapper Fergie Baby joins Erick in the opening stretch, trading bars in a relentless exchange that steadily builds in intensity. Just as the momentum reaches its peak, the track shifts into a slowed, nostalgic East Coast groove, making room for Wu-Tang Clan legend Ghostface Killah to take command.
The collaboration brings together distinct voices from New York’s rap landscape, with Fergie Baby’s rising presence meeting the unmistakable character and experience of one of hip-hop’s most revered MCs. The switch in production gives Ghostface room to make his mark while connecting the track’s contemporary club energy to the foundations of East Coast rap.
‘YERR’ also reinforces Erick’s ability to draw from his influences without being confined by them. His self-produced sound balances classic rap sensibilities with a restless, modern edge, while his own delivery remains a reminder of the precision and expression that have shaped his work across music and production.
With his second solo album set to arrive in January, ‘YERR’ offers a compelling introduction to the next phase of Erick the Architect’s career.
