Following a run of infectious releases and the arrival of his sophomore album, 'Starlife', Nigerian star Victony returns with the highly anticipated remix of ‘Slick’, bringing together Don Toliver and Summer Walker for an international collaboration.
Originally released earlier this year, ‘Slick’ has taken on a new life following an online teaser from Summer Walker, who shared her own vocal rendition of the track and playfully dubbed it the ‘Thick Slick Remix’. The response helped fast-track the collaboration into an official release, turning a moment online into a full-fledged musical link-up.
Produced by Ozedikus and Dëra, the remix brings together elements of Afrobeats, hip-hop and contemporary R&B. Victony’s melodic approach provides the foundation, while Don Toliver and Summer Walker introduce their own styles, adding new dimensions to the original.
