Leeds-based instrumentalists and producers Gotts Street Park have released their second full-length studio album, ‘Somewhere Between’, marking a natural progression for the trio as they continue to explore the space between soul, live instrumentation and contemporary songwriting.

Building on the groove-led sound that has defined their work to date, the album sees Gotts Street Park broaden their musical palette while retaining the human connection and instinctive approach at the heart of their production. New textures, arrangements and songwriting ideas create room for a wider cast of collaborators, while preserving the understated feel that has become synonymous with the group.

Across the project, the trio combine their signature production with an added sense of warmth, drawing inspiration from the storytelling spirit of the 1970s singer-songwriter movement. The result brings together rich instrumentation and a diverse range of voices, with Celeste, Olive Jones, Pip Millett, Matt Maltese, Sofia & The Antoinettes, anaiis and Rosie Lowe all contributing to the album.

Rather than simply relying on the strengths of their established sound, ‘Somewhere Between’ finds Gotts Street Park creating a setting in which each collaborator can bring their own character to the music. The project reflects the trio’s ability to balance detailed production with a more organic, collaborative approach, allowing the performances and songwriting to remain central.

The album arrives as the group continue their ‘Somewhere Here World Tour’, which began in July. The run has already taken them to North America for their debut concerts in the region, alongside performances at Montreal Jazz Festival, Roots Picnic and Newport Jazz Festival.

Gotts Street Park will continue their European headline dates throughout the autumn, culminating in their biggest headline show to date at London’s Roundhouse on 25th November.
