D-Block Europe and French Montana have reunited for their latest single ‘Rico’, while simultaneously announcing a major collaborative project and European tour that will bring their transatlantic chemistry to the stage.

The connection between D-Block Europe and the US rap world runs deep. The South London duo's name itself pays homage to D-Block Records, the label founded by The LOX, while Jadakiss formed a relationship with Young Adz during his teenage years that would ultimately help establish D-Block Europe as the UK and European extension of the D-Block legacy.

That connection has remained central to DBE's story. Over the years, Young Adz and Dirtbike LB have built an impressive catalogue of transatlantic collaborations, working with artists including Lil Tjay, Lil Baby and Rich The Kid as they have continued to blur the lines between UK and US rap. French Montana is another artist with whom the duo have developed a strong relationship, making their latest collaboration feel like a natural progression.

The three artists previously joined forces on ‘If I Was Rich Enough’, taken from DBE's ‘PTSD 2’, before reconnecting recently on ‘Fully Loaded’. Now, they are back with ‘Rico’, giving fans another taste of what happens when the worlds of DBE and French Montana collide. Across the track, all three artists lean into their individual styles, with Adz and LB bringing the unmistakable DBE sound while French adds his own signature US rap flavour.

The chemistry is immediate, creating a record that feels like a preview of something much bigger. And that is exactly what it is. Alongside the release of ‘Rico’, D-Block Europe and French Montana have announced their collaborative project, 'Worldwide Wave', set to arrive on 11th September.

The announcement doesn't stop there. Adz, LB and French Montana will also take 'Worldwide Wave' on the road for a European tour, kicking off in Birmingham on October 22 before travelling across the continent and concluding in Paris on November 8.

With ‘Rico’ now setting the tone, 'Worldwide Wave' looks ready to live up to its name.
