It’s the transatlantic link-up that’s got the timeline talking. Yeat joins forces with Liverpool’s own EsDeeKid on gripping new collaboration ‘Made It On Our Own’.

EsDeeKid has been a central figure in UK rap conversations this year. From headline-grabbing back-and-forths with Mazza L20 to unexpected creative crossovers with Timothée Chalamet, the Scouse riser has kept his name buzzing. Now, by linking up with one of the most distinctive voices in the US underground, he pushes his sound further into the American market.

Sonically, the pairing makes perfect sense. Both artists operate within similarly atmospheric, bass-heavy soundscapes - each carving out their own lane on opposite sides of the Atlantic. On ‘Made It On Our Own’, that shared energy translates into a dark, hypnotic record that’s already commanding attention.

Adding another layer of star power, the accompanying visual was shot inside Drake’s Toronto mansion, The Embassy - a setting that matches the record’s larger-than-life feel. Behind the lens is Director X, the visionary responsible for iconic visuals including 'Hotline Bling' and 'Life Is Good', bringing cinematic polish to an already heavyweight collaboration.

With ‘Made It On Our Own’, Yeat and EsDeeKid set levels, and if this link-up is anything to go by, there’s plenty more global crossover to come.
