As 2025 drew to a close, Wale reminded listeners of his enduring quality with the release of his critically acclaimed album 'everything is a lot'. The project reintroduced the Washington D.C. rapper to both long-time supporters and newer audiences, reinforcing the depth of his catalogue while proving his relevance remains firmly intact.

Spanning 18 tracks, the album showcased Wale’s versatility through a wide range of collaborations, featuring appearances from Shaboozey, Ty Dolla $ign, ODUMODUBLVCK, BNYX and more. Among the standout moments, however, was ‘Watching Us’, a smooth and introspective link-up with rising R&B star Leon Thomas - a track that quickly became a fan favourite.

Now, the duo have elevated the record further with the release of its official music video. Directed by Hidji World, the visual matches the song’s mood and intimacy, delivering a polished and considered aesthetic that enhances the chemistry between both artists. The result feels like a natural extension of the record, adding new depth while giving one of the album’s most talked-about collaborations a fresh moment.

With the release of the ‘Watching Us’ video, Wale continues to extend the life of 'everything is a lot', closing the loop on a project that has reaffirmed his place as one of rap’s most consistent and respected voices.
