After carving out his lane with two acclaimed EPs and collaborations that placed him firmly among the UK’s brightest musicians, Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Venna has returned with his long-awaited debut album, 'MALIK'.

The South London talent kicked off 2025 in style with ‘Prophet’ and ‘My Way’, both of which land on the project’s expansive 17-track tracklist. In the build-up, Venna also delivered the soulful lead single ‘Myself’, a collaboration with one of the UK’s most beloved voices, Jorja Smith.

'MALIK' sees Venna push his sound beyond borders, blending his jazz foundations with global influences and forward-thinking production. The album enlists an impressive roster of guests, including Leon Thomas and Smino, while innovators such as Yussef Dayes and CARI bring further depth and texture to the project.

At its core, 'MALIK' is a manifestation of Venna’s experiences, worldview, and years of musical craftsmanship. The result is a body of work that not only cements his place within the UK scene but also underscores his ability to connect on an international scale.

With 'MALIK', Venna invites listeners into his universe - one that feels timeless, genre-fluid, and unapologetically true to his artistry. Check it out in full below, and let us know your thoughts.
