Suggz links up with Zeddy East & deed0t on ‘Been Around’
Manchester rapper Suggz continues to build his profile with 'Been Around', a new collaboration alongside fellow 0161 talents Zeddy East and deed0t that sees him explore a more mellow side of his sound.
Having built a reputation around gritty flows and direct delivery, Suggz takes a different approach here. The track leans into more melodic, free-flowing foundations, giving the three artists room to explore a smoother sound while retaining the character that runs through their music.
Bermuda-born, Manchester-raised artist Zeddy East brings his own perspective to the collaboration, alongside fellow Manchester-based rapper deed0t. Their contributions complement Suggz’s delivery, creating a natural balance between the track’s melodic direction and the rawness listeners have come to associate with his sound.
'Been Around' offers a fresh perspective on Suggz’s versatility, showing that his approach extends beyond the grittier style that has helped establish his name. The shift in mood feels like a considered step forward, allowing him to experiment with a different energy while bringing other emerging voices from Manchester into the mix.
As Suggz continues to rise, collaborations like this also highlight the talent coming through the city’s music scene. By linking up with Zeddy East and deed0t, he adds another connection to Manchester’s growing network of artists finding their own lanes.
With 'Been Around', Suggz broadens the picture of what he can do while building the hype for his eagerly anticipated project, 'No Sick Dayz', which is scheduled for release on 6th November.
