Samm Henshaw is stepping into the new year with purpose, releasing his first single of 2026, ‘Hair Down’. The new drop not only signals a fresh chapter creatively, but also comes with a major announcement fans have been waiting on - his previously vinyl-only project 'It Could Be Worse' is finally landing on streaming platforms on January 19th.

True to form, Samm continues to move on his own terms. By deliberately pushing against the grain of the digital-first music industry, he’s proven that there’s still a deep appetite for tangible, intentional releases. The response speaks for itself, with 'It Could Be Worse' already shifting over 2,000 vinyl copies, building momentum through word of mouth rather than algorithms.
‘Hair Down’ captures a different shade of Samm’s artistry. Smooth, groove-led production sets the foundation as his effortless delivery floats across the track, offering calm reassurance and lived-in wisdom. It’s a record that feels reflective yet freeing, encouraging listeners to loosen their grip, trust the process and embrace the moment.
To celebrate the wider release of 'It Could Be Worse', Samm is also taking the project on the road. He’s set to embark on an expansive 30+ date tour spanning the US, Asia and Europe, kicking off on January 27th in Tokyo before wrapping up with a special homecoming show at KOKO in London on March 24th.
With ‘Hair Down’ setting the tone and 'It Could Be Worse' finally reaching a global streaming audience, Samm Henshaw continues to prove that authenticity, patience and purpose still cut through.
