Suggz adds to Manchester’s rap legacy with debut E.P 'No Sick Dayz'

After a breakthrough year that has seen his name travel well beyond Manchester, Suggz closes out 2026 with his debut EP 'No Sick Dayz'. Already earning the Prince of the North tag, the 0161 rapper has turned growing attention into serious momentum, and his latest release feels like another significant step in a career gathering pace.
From the success of ‘Internet Ready’ to an impressive appearance on Fire In The Booth, Suggz has continued to make his presence felt. More recently, ‘Been Around’ alongside deed0t and Zeddy East added to an increasingly strong run, further cementing his position among the UK’s most exciting emerging rap voices.

One of the project's standout moments arrives with ‘Manny Made’, a collaboration with fellow Manchester artist Aitch. As one of the city's most successful rap exports, Aitch's involvement carries a significance beyond the record itself. Both artists are part of the NQ family, making the link-up a reflection of the collective's continued role in nurturing Manchester talent. Having helped guide Aitch's journey to national success, seeing him alongside Suggz - an artist still in the early stages of his own rise - feels like a statement of intent for the next generation.
It's a meeting of two different points in their careers, with the city's established star sharing the spotlight with one of its most tipped prospects.
Across its eight tracks, 'No Sick Dayz' includes previously released cuts ‘Motion’, ‘Internet Ready’ and ‘Been Around’, with Aitch providing the project's sole additional feature. Keeping the focus firmly on Suggz, the EP brings together the work that has defined his breakthrough while giving him room to establish his own identity and showcase the sound he has been developing.
Suggz comes from a lineage of rap talent and has been honing his craft long before the current attention arrived. 'No Sick Dayz' reflects that groundwork, but more importantly, it showcases an artist beginning to realise his potential. There is a clear sense of direction behind his rise, and the confidence to carve out his own place within an increasingly competitive UK rap landscape.
For Manchester, Suggz represents another exciting chapter in a city with a rich history of producing influential rap talent. For Suggz himself, this feels like the foundations of something much bigger. Having made 2026 a breakthrough year, he heads into 2027 with the backing, ability and momentum to take things to another level.
If this is only the beginning, there is plenty of reason to be excited about just how far he can go.
