Having impressed last year with the release of 'Presido La Pluto', it is now time for Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter Shallipopi to bless us with another well-crafted body of work. Continuing to push the boundaries, the multi-faceted artist takes his sound to new heights on 'Shakespopi', and there is no doubt it will be getting love.
Taking centre stage, Shallipopi uses this body of work as an opportunity to showcase all angles of his artistry. The rising star delivers 8 infectious solo tracks whilst also including 'Billion'; a huge collaboration which see's him call on the likes of Reehaa, Zerrydl, Tega Boi Dc and Jeneral.
Shalli blends Afrobeat and Highlife sounds on tracks such as ‘ASAP’, ‘Dey’, ‘Find Me’ for example, as he continues to bless us with those Amapiano fuelled anthems that we have grown to love on tracks such as 'New Cat’ and ‘Start Am’.
