It's the one that everyone's been waiting for. There has been so much hype surrounding this project in the build up to it's release, and now it is official, Travis Scott has released 'Utopia'. Having built up huge demand for the body of work, it was only right that Travis stepped up, and the Houston raised talent delivers 19 tracks.
The extensive body of work see's Travis continue push boundaries with his sound and style, but unsurprisingly he has a star-studded list of names that accompany him. 'Utopia' see's the likes of Beyoncé, SZA, Kanye West, Daft Punk‘s Guy-Manuel and many more contribute to the project, and it is safe to say that each feature has been carefully positioned, and well thought out.
Having built up such a huge hype with his 2018 album 'Astroworld', it will be interesting to see how 'Utopia' is received, but the initial signals are positive, with it's opening day stream being the highest in 2023 so far.
