NBA YoungBoy drops surprise 13-track project 'DESHAWN'

Without warning, NBA YoungBoy has returned with a brand-new project, but this time he’s keeping it short and sharp. The Baton Rouge hitmaker, already the most RIAA-certified rapper of the decade, has delivered 'DESHAWN', a 13-track release hosted by DJ Khaled and featuring just one guest appearance from fellow Southern heavyweight Kevin Gates.

The project lands only weeks after YB’s high-profile comeback album 'Make America Slime Again', which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 with nearly 50,000 album-equivalent units. While that record was a sprawling 30-track marathon, 'DESHAWN' trims things down for a more focused, digestible listen, without sacrificing the raw energy and street narratives fans expect.

Whether 'DESHAWN' matches the chart success of its predecessor remains to be seen, but one thing is certain - NBA YoungBoy isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
