NAV drops off new project 'OMW2 Rexdale'

Back in the early 2020’s NAV was one of the standout rappers for consistently, in the space of 5 years he dropped; four albums, a mixtape and a deluxe album. Funnily enough, after this he went silent and not just with the music, NAV was barely spotted out at the industry events either. His fans have been anticipating a comeback for sometime now and they finally have it with his brand new album OMW2 Rexdale’. This project almost feels like NAV is reinventing himself, still the same rapper but there is a definite new sharpness to his sound, he has been working on polishing up his finishing product.

The lead single ‘REAL ME’ dropped last week and gave us all an indication of what to expect from the album. You can tell how in tune him and his producers are on this tape, the album opener ‘BACK 2 BUSINESS’ was the perfect example of their chemistry. ‘U.N.I’ has been dubbed on of the best songs of the rappers career. ‘GET 2 U’ is a personal favourite of mine as I feel it taps into his Toronto side, showcasing the smooth and the real gritty influences of the city.
