Mr Eazi and King Promise reconnect for their latest collaboration 'That Way', a feel-good release that blends millennial nostalgia with contemporary Afropop energy. The track arrives as the second single from their upcoming joint project 'See What We’ve Done', set to land later this spring, and continues the chemistry first heard on their summer 2025 collaboration of the same name.

Mr Eazi & King Promise

Built around a familiar yet cleverly reworked reference point, 'That Way' reimagines the Backstreet Boys’ 1999 classic 'I Want It That Way', transforming its instantly recognisable melody into a warm, modern Afrobeats record. Rather than leaning purely on nostalgia, the duo reshape the moment into something fresh, allowing the song to live comfortably in today’s global soundscape.

Production comes courtesy of GRAMMY Award-winning hitmakers GuiltyBeatz and JAE5, whose understated approach allows the emotion of the record to take centre stage. King Promise’s smooth, melodic delivery floats effortlessly across the instrumental, while Mr Eazi’s laid-back vocal presence ties the track together with ease.

Following their previous success together, 'That Way' reinforces the pair’s natural synergy and sets the tone for what’s to come from 'See What We’ve Done'.
