The Local Boyz are back in full force, returning with their latest release ‘Baddies’, a vibrant new collaboration that once again showcases the chemistry and creativity brewing within the West Midlands collective.

Fronted by rising talent Jaycen Spades, the track also brings together Katus Myles, Hunter Bavaro and nineteen97, while trusted collaborator Off-Key takes the reins behind the boards, delivering a production that perfectly complements the group's infectious energy.

Built around skippy percussion, bouncing melodies and a slick groove, Off-Key lays the perfect foundation for the trio to shine. Jaycen Spades takes the lead with an effortlessly catchy hook before delivering a confident opening verse that immediately sets the tone for the rest of the record.

Katus Myles follows with a performance that catches listeners off guard in the best possible way. Stepping outside of his usual approach, he delivers a fresh style that adds another dimension to the track while seamlessly handing over to nineteen97, who closes things out with the charismatic delivery and sharp lyricism that have become trademarks of his sound.

The chemistry between all four creatives is what makes ‘Baddies’ stand out. Rather than feeling like a collection of individual performances, the record plays to each artist's strengths, with every contribution naturally feeding into the next.

As a collective, the Local Boyz continue to demonstrate the depth of talent emerging from the West Midlands. Each release further strengthens their identity while giving every member the opportunity to showcase their own artistry within a collaborative setting.
