Friday 5th September 2025 marked a milestone moment for UK music lovers as Vybz Kartel took centre stage at The O2 Arena for the second London stop of his 'Worl’ Boss Tour'. For both fans and Vybz himself, the night represented history in the making - just his second solo UK performance in over two decades.

Following his long-awaited release from prison last year, the anticipation for Vybz’s live shows has been immense. After making an appearance at Wireless Festival earlier this summer, the Worl’ Boss Tour has cemented his return to the stage on a global scale. And in London, he delivered - spectacularly.

The night before, Kartel faced criticism from fans who felt his setlist lacked some of his classics, and that the absence of dancers left something missing. But, he put that right for the second night - even joking mid-set that he’d “seen the TikToks” and made adjustments. That ability to listen and adapt set the tone for what became an unforgettable performance.

After warm-up sets from Seani B and others, the energy was already at fever pitch when Vybz emerged at around 9:30PM. In a dramatic entrance, he appeared locked up behind bars to Akon’s ‘Locked Up’ before breaking free and igniting the arena into chaos. From there, the energy didn’t dip once. For 90 minutes straight, Vybz Kartel delivered back-to-back anthems. Fans sang along word-for-word to ‘Clarks’, ‘Fever’, ‘Mr Officer’, ‘Romping Shop’ and countless more from his multi-decade catalogue. Health concerns had surrounded his return, but on stage, he looked revitalised - clearly making his wellbeing a priority in order to give fans the show they had waited years to see.

The surprises didn’t stop with him. Krept & Konan stepped out to perform 'G Love' before Sneakbo joined Vybz on stage to perform 'Touch Ah Button' whilst also taking a moment to pay homage to him, acknowledging that he changed his life and kickstarted his rise. To address the dancer-shaped hole in his earlier set, Vybz brought out UK-based choreographer Amber Rae and her team, who lit up the stage with their viral routine to 'I Know'

As the night came to a close, Vybz stood visibly moved, soaking in the love and energy radiating from every corner of The O2. What unfolded wasn’t just a concert - it was a cultural milestone. A moment that will be remembered by everyone lucky enough to be there.

In a career defined by influence and resilience, The Worl’ Boss Tour at The O2 proved that Vybz Kartel still has an unmatched ability to command the stage and create an electric atmosphere few can rival.
