Manchester rapper Kenzo Str8Drop has announced his forthcoming debut album 'Hood Exit' with the release of his latest single, ‘Who Needs Enemies’. With the album set to arrive on 21st August, the new track sees Kenzo reunite with producer Kong, whose hard-hitting drill production provides the perfect backdrop for the rapper's unmistakable delivery.

Built around gritty realism and vivid storytelling, ‘Who Needs Enemies’ reflects on loyalty, survival and the realities that have shaped Kenzo's journey. Accompanied by a cinematic visual, the release continues the dark, mysterious aesthetic that has become synonymous with the Manchester artist. Framed in his trademark blacked-out silhouette, Kenzo commands the screen with a confident performance that reinforces the identity he's carefully crafted throughout his rise.

While his anonymity has become part of his appeal, ‘Who Needs Enemies’ demonstrates there's far more to Kenzo Str8Drop than the image. The single showcases another side of his artistry, balancing raw authenticity with sharp songwriting and further highlighting his growth as both a rapper and storyteller.

With 'Hood Exit' now firmly on the horizon, anticipation continues to build around what promises to be Kenzo's most personal and fully realised body of work to date. If ‘Who Needs Enemies’ is any indication, the debut album looks set to cement his reputation as one of Manchester's most compelling voices in UK rap.
