D-Block Europe, one of the UK’s biggest and most influential rap duos, are currently on their ‘PTSD 2’ tour, and fans have been eagerly anticipating this run of shows. We had the chance to attend their Birmingham stop at bp pulse live on Thursday, 4th December, and it was clear from the moment the doors opened that this would be a night to remember.

The duo released their latest project, 'PTSD 2', last month on 14th November, and since then, anticipation has only grown. This tour carries even more weight as DBE recently announced plans to step back from music, meaning fans were getting one of the last chances to see the duo perform their hits live. Coming off the back of a previous tour where they sold out the O2 Arena in London four times, the pressure was high, but DBE delivered in spectacular fashion.

The show began with a DJ warming up the Birmingham crowd, gradually building the energy in the room. As the audience got settled and hyped, K-Trap hit the stage as the support act. He brought a huge burst of energy, immediately getting the crowd moving and setting the tone for the night. K-Trap delivered fan-favourite tracks like 'Interlude', 'Warm' and more, proving why he’s become such a staple in the UK rap scene. His performance was lively and engaging, giving fans a taste of what was to come before the main act.

Once D-Block Europe appeared, the energy in the room skyrocketed. It was immediately obvious that the duo’s years of hard work and experience had paid off; their stage presence was flawless. Every movement, every gesture, and every interaction with the crowd felt effortless, a clear demonstration of their professionalism and mastery of live performance.

Halfway through the set, the duo brought out fellow UK talent Nafe Smallz for a special collaboration, performing 'Keeper'. This moment was one of many highlights, offering fans a rare live pairing of some of London’s finest talent. Beyond collaborations, DBE used the show to showcase the depth and breadth of their catalogue. From their earliest tracks to their latest hits on 'PTSD 2', the night felt like a celebration of everything they’ve built over the years.

The crowd’s response was overwhelming - fans sang along to nearly every track, word for word, creating an electrifying atmosphere that reverberated through the venue. The connection between DBE and their supporters was palpable, with the audience feeding off every lyric, every beat, and every gesture from the stage. It was clear that the duo’s music resonates deeply with fans, both old and new.

Over five years ago, CGuk had the opportunity to see DBE perform at a much smaller venue, the O2 Academy Birmingham. Witnessing their growth from that intimate setting to selling out arenas is truly remarkable. It’s a testament not only to their talent but to their work ethic and dedication to their craft.

Seeing DBE perform in Birmingham highlighted just how strong their fanbase has become. From the die-hard supporters singing every line to the new listeners drawn in by their latest hits, the duo proved that their influence in UK rap is undeniable. If this is indeed their farewell tour, DBE is leaving the stage in the perfect way — with a high-energy, unforgettable performance that reminds everyone why they’ve been at the top of the game for so long.

In short, DBE’s Birmingham show wasn’t just a concert — it was an experience. The combination of stage presence, crowd interaction, and a perfectly curated setlist made it clear that the duo has earned their place as UK rap icons. Fans left the venue buzzing, and for those of us witnessing it, it was a privilege to watch DBE close out another chapter of their career with style and impact.
