Kojey Radical announces new album 'Don’t Look Down' with stirring new single 'Conversation'

Kojey Radical is officially entering his next chapter. After reintroducing himself in May with the sharp and purposeful 'Rule One' alongside Bawo, the East London creative now delivers 'Conversation' - a moving new single that sets the tone for his just-announced sophomore album 'Don’t Look Down'.

Over a rich, gospel-infused instrumental courtesy of longtime collaborator Swindle, Kojey leans into his introspective side, reflecting on growth, detachment, and the emotional clarity that comes when the music fades and real life settles back in. His words land with weight, touching on the subtle shifts in relationships and identity that often go unnoticed until you're forced to sit still and take stock.

'Conversation' speaks to where Kojey is creatively and personally. It’s layered, honest, and steeped in soul, offering a glimpse at the depth we can expect from 'Don’t Look Down'. But in typical Kojey fashion, the album announcement didn’t arrive with a flashy campaign or viral moment. Instead, he chose to mark the moment with a free, intimate event for his community - a room full of core fans and longtime supporters who’ve been part of his journey since 'Reason to Smile' and beyond. We were lucky enough to be in the building, and it’s safe to say the energy confirmed what many already knew - Kojey’s next era is one to pay attention to.

'Don’t Look Down' promises to be a body of work built on connection, clarity and creative freedom, and if 'Conversation' is the opening statement, the album might just be his most profound offering yet.
