Joy Crookes returns with her long-awaited second album 'Juniper', a striking follow up to her acclaimed 2021 debut 'Skin'. Fiercely personal and sonically adventurous, the project cements her place as one of the UK’s most compelling and uncompromising voices.

Written during a period of personal upheaval and a battle with mental health, 'Juniper' finds Crookes tackling themes of identity, anxiety, queer love, body politics, and industry hypocrisy with fearless honesty. Across its 12 tracks, she offers both vulnerability and strength, exploring difficult subjects while infusing the work with wit, humour, and an unshakable sense of life.
Produced by long-time collaborators Blue May, Tev’n, and Harvey Grant, the album strips her sound back to its raw core while simultaneously breaking new ground. The result is a body of work that feels intimate yet expansive, capturing Crookes’ evolution as both a songwriter and a storyteller.
Building on the momentum of standout singles and celebrated collaborations with artists such as Vince Staples and Kano, 'Juniper' arrives as a defining moment in Crookes’ career. 'Juniper' is a fearless record that highlights her growth, resilience, and singular artistry.
