CARI pushes her sound further with new drop ‘The Dealer’

West London alternative R&B artist CARI returns with ‘The Dealer’, a guitar-led, genre-bending new single that further establishes her as one of the most exciting voices emerging from the UK's alternative R&B landscape. Rather than fitting neatly into a particular genre, ‘The Dealer’ feels driven by atmosphere and emotion.

The track begins within a softer soundscape before gradually erupting into something fuller and more energetic, creating space for CARI to explore new melodies through both her vocals and the production. With One Hand and PRGRSHN joining forces behind the boards, the production provides the perfect foundation for CARI's expressive delivery. There is a sense of movement throughout the record, with each layer adding to an evolving sonic world that feels distinctly her own.

That ability to exist between sounds has been central to CARI's growing reputation. Her 2025 debut EP, ‘FLUX’, introduced her as one of British R&B's most compelling new voices, backed by production from PRGRSHN, Melo-Zed and Tendai and anchored by vocals that manage to feel both timeless and forward-thinking. Since then, CARI's trajectory has accelerated considerably.

A GRAMMY acknowledgement for her contribution to Destin Conrad's GRAMMY-nominated ‘Love on Digital’ was followed by a place on his European tour. She has also opened for kwn during BRITs Week in association with War Child and supported Sasha Keable across dates in Paris and at London's iconic KOKO.

Those opportunities have continued to position CARI as more than simply an emerging artist. Her growing list of collaborators, performances and co-signs reflects a creative force increasingly being recognised across the scene.
