Jae Stephens embraces every version of herself on ‘AUDACITY’

Jae Stephens unveils her highly anticipated debut studio album 'AUDACITY', an 11-track project that brings together pop fantasy and personal reflection to explore the contradictions of modern femininity through her own lens. Across the album, softness and vulnerability exist alongside strength, command and independence.
Rather than attempting to reconcile those opposing qualities, Jae allows them to coexist, creating a coming-of-power story centred on the freedom to embrace every version of yourself without apology.

At the heart of AUDACITY is Jae’s refusal to exist within a single definition of womanhood. The album gives space to the contradictions that shape her experiences, allowing confidence, intimacy, desire and uncertainty to sit alongside one another without needing to be neatly resolved.
That perspective has been introduced through a run of singles that each reveal another side of the project. 'Attaboy!' established its flirtatious, bass-heavy world, turning intimate pursuit into something playful and self-assured. 'Sugar Trap' sharpened that energy, while more recent releases 'I Miss The City' and 'Gymnastics' have offered a glimpse into the album’s more complicated interior.
Across its 11 tracks, Jae continues to build out a world shaped by a wide range of collaborators and creatives, including Dallas Caton, MNEK, PinkPantheress and more. Their contributions add different textures to a project that moves between pop sensibilities, bass-driven production and more introspective moments.
The result is an album that feels deliberately expansive. Jae isn't interested in presenting one definitive version of herself, instead using 'AUDACITY' to explore the different identities, emotions and experiences that can exist within the same person.
