Drake expands ‘HABIBTI’ with four new tracks featuring Don Toliver and Yebba!
OVO season is officially underway as Drake treats fans to another wave of new music. The Toronto superstar has expanded his 'HABIBTI' project with four additional tracks, previously introduced in his September film 'FOMO'.
The latest additions include 'Solar Eclipse', 'Cold Shoulder', 'Quebec' and 'Classic PT2', bringing a combination of smooth R&B, melodic production and Drake’s signature rap delivery.
Don Toliver makes two appearances on the release, joining Drake for 'Solar Eclipse', which offers a fresh R&B interpretation of Ella Langley’s 'Choosin’ Texas'. The pair also link up with Yebba on 'Cold Shoulder', adding another collaboration to the project.
Elsewhere, 'Quebec' showcases Drake’s ability to switch effortlessly between laid-back melodies and energetic verses. 'Classic PT2' revisits material from the original release, offering listeners another chapter of the project. The four tracks arrive following the September premiere of 'FOMO', a visual project featuring unreleased music, accompanying videos and footage documenting Drake’s summer in Toronto.
Although several songs previewed in the film remain unavailable on streaming platforms, fans can now enjoy these four additions as part of 'HABIBTI'. The project initially arrived in May alongside 'ICEMAN' and 'MAID OF HONOUR'.
With October’s Very Own season now in full swing, Drake is keeping the new music coming.
