Jamaican singer-songwriter and poet D’Yani continues the rollout for his forthcoming album ‘Live Life & Prosper’ with the release of his heartfelt new single ‘Miss You Bad’.
Set to appear on the 12-track project, due for release on August 21, the latest offering arrives as the follow-up to June's ‘Journey’. While its predecessor carried a more uplifting energy, ‘Miss You Bad’ sees D’Yani lean into a far more intimate and emotionally exposed side of his artistry.

Built around a laid-back reggae groove and infectious percussion, the track explores the emotional conflict of longing for someone who may not be right for you. Through honest lyricism and his unmistakably soulful vocal delivery, D’Yani captures the highs of love, the pain of heartbreak and the lingering emotions that remain long after a relationship has ended, creating a record that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
The accompanying music video complements the song's reflective nature, portraying the complexities of a relationship caught between passion and pain. It beautifully illustrates the emotional tug-of-war that comes with missing someone, even when you know they're not the person you're meant to be with.
With anticipation building for ‘Live Life & Prosper’, D’Yani has once again delivered a captivating preview of what's to come. If this latest release is anything to go by, the forthcoming album is shaping up to be his most heartfelt and accomplished body of work to date.
