Chase & Status return with 'Generic Everything', their seventh studio album and another statement of intent from the influential British production duo. Spanning 10 tracks across 30 minutes, the project moves between Drum & Bass, Grime, Dubstep and Brazilian Baile Funk, bringing together the sounds and collaborators that continue to shape their approach to electronic music.

Chase & Status - Generic Everything

In the build-up to the album’s release, the duo have shared a series of high-profile collaborations, connecting with both established names and artists representing different corners of the UK scene. Their link-ups with the likes of Blade Brown, Debbie, J Hus, IRAH, Lancey Foux and Pozer set the tone and offered glimpses into the album’s range.

The full tracklist expands that line-up even further, with additional appearances from D Double E, Giggs, Blanco, Saam Sultan, Little Simz, Skrillex, Finesse Kid, Ledbyher and Col3trane. The breadth of collaborators reflects Chase & Status’ ability to move between different scenes, bringing together artists whose sounds and perspectives stretch beyond any single genre.

Across 'Generic Everything', Drum & Bass remains part of the duo’s musical foundation, but the wider palette allows space for grime, dubstep and Brazilian Baile Funk to influence the project’s direction. Rather than staying within one lane, Chase & Status continue to explore the connections between club music, UK rap and sounds from further afield.

Chase & Status bring together a wide-ranging cast of voices and sounds, delivering a concise project that reflects the breadth of their musical world.
