Alté trailblazer Boj steps into a powerful new era with the release of his sixth studio album, 'Duplicity' - a boundary-pushing body of work that sees one of Nigeria’s most influential innovators revisit, reshape, and elevate the very sound he helped create.

Across thirteen forward-thinking tracks, Boj expands the Alté universe, weaving Afropop, Afrobeats, Hip-Hop, Electronic textures, and experimental undertones into a seamless, globally minded tapestry. It’s a project that feels expansive yet deeply intimate, showing us all that Boj is willing to take risks while standing firmly in his identity.
On 'Duplicity', Boj delivers some of the most daring cuts of his career. There’s the adrenaline-laced 'Italawa' with Odumodublvck and SGaWD, which is then contrasted by the buoyant, dance-ready 'Ijo'. Elsewhere, the hypnotic 'Cana' featuring UK star Pa Salieu captures Boj’s gift for infectious hooks and cross-continental synergy.
As one of the architects of Alté, and the person who coined the term, Boj has spent more than a decade shaping a movement. With 'Duplicity', he shows just how far that movement can stretch, and how boldly it can evolve.
