BexBlu & Paul Stephan celebrate their roots on ‘Sound Of The South’

South London producer BexBlu and rapper Paul Stephan reunite on ‘Sound Of The South’, their latest collaborative single and a tribute to the place that has shaped them both. Bringing together the weight and charisma of Southern US rap with the unmistakable grit of UK grime, the track draws on different musical influences while maintaining a distinctly London identity.

Built around BexBlu’s signature production style, the instrumental provides a hard-hitting backdrop for Paul Stephan’s gritty, commanding delivery. The result is a record that balances the attitude of its influences with a sound that feels personal to the duo and the environment they represent.
Both artists hail from South London, and that shared background sits at the heart of the release. Rather than simply referencing their surroundings, BexBlu and Paul Stephan channel the character, energy and creative spirit of their hometown into a track that celebrates their roots while pushing their collaborative sound forward.
‘Sound Of The South’ follows previous singles ‘Never Relax’ and ‘U Feel Good’, adding further momentum to the pair’s forthcoming collaborative album, Always Moving, set for release on 20th November 2026.
With Always Moving on the horizon, BexBlu and Paul Stephan continue to carve out their own space within the UK rap landscape.
