West London’s Bawo returns with serious intent, dropping off his new single 'I’m So' - a track that further cements his place as one of the most distinctive voices shaping the next wave of UK rap. The release arrives hot on the heels of October’s 'In My Palm', and sees Bawo step even deeper into his sonic world.
Co-produced with Ken Samson, this latest instalment see's the duo create an effortlessly smooth backdrop that lets Bawo’s laid-back cadence take full control. His delivery - calm, melodic, and unbothered - floats across the beat with a confidence that feels both refined and intimate.
Across the track, Bawo showcases the clarity and craftsmanship that made his 2024 project 'It Means Hope Where I’m From' such a standout moment. But here, there’s a new sharpness, a sense that he’s pushing his artistry into a more polished, elevated space while still keeping his trademark nonchalant, laid-back delivery.
With each release, the West London talent continues to build momentum, and 'I’m So' feels like another intentional step towards a much bigger vision. If this is the warm-up, 2026 is looking very serious for Bawo, and we’re locked in to see where he takes it next.
