Ahadadream captures identity, belonging & club culture on ‘P ★ K I’

Pakistan-born, London-based DJ and producer Ahadadream releases his debut album, 'P ★ K I' - a deeply personal project that brings together the sounds that have shaped his career with a powerful statement on identity, pride and belonging.

Pronounced 'Pee-Star-Kay-Eye', 'the project marks Ahadadream’s biggest artistic move to date. Across the album, he embraces the parts of himself he once felt he had to make smaller after moving from Pakistan to the UK at 12, using his debut to make a statement about who he is and where he comes from.

At its core, the album explores Ahadadream’s relationship with club culture and the sense of freedom it has given him. A space where he can exist completely authentically, 'P ★ K I' reflects that feeling through a record that is unapologetic in both its dancefloor energy and its messaging.

Musically, Ahadadream draws from the foundations that have defined his work over the years, weaving together UK bass, grime, UK funky and global club sounds. The project follows a run of standout collaborations and singles that have offered glimpses into this new chapter. Earlier this year, Ahadadream joined forces with Skrillex and Raf-Saperra on 'Bass Dhol', while 'Put That Banger On Next' with Capo Lee, 'Make Space' and 'Left / Right' with Dismantle and Jamakabi have further introduced the sound and energy of the album.

Across 'P ★ K I', Ahadadream also brings together an eclectic group of collaborators from different corners of the musical landscape. 'Tere Bin' connects the album to the legacy of legendary Pakistani artist Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, while appearances from INVT, Lamsi, Eliza Rose and Jolie P reflect the global underground and UK club communities that continue to inform his work.
