NEW: Stormzy - Mel Made Me Do It - Prod by. Knox Brown - Directed by. KLVDR

Big Mike has returned, and what a way to do it. After a long hiatus Stormzy is back doing exactly what he does best, rap. Last night we were blessed with a brand new single entitled 'Mel Made Me Do It' which saw the South London superstar execute 7 minutes and 20 seconds worth of bars, which was accompanied by an iconic 10 minute 52 second music video.

Now, we all know that Stormz can rap, amongst being able to create a host of other genres. He has proven himself time and time again, but this release really sees him raise the bar. Laying down his raps over a Knox Brown production, the MERKY CEO reminds us all that he is most certainly in a different league.

We can spend time breaking down the levels that Stormzy achieved with his lyrical ability, but it is the music video that has got the world talking. In my humble opinion, this is the best music video to ever come out of the UK music industry, and there are plenty of reasons why this is the case.

Let's start with the list of cameo appearances....

Usain Bolt, Jonathan Ross, Zeze Millz, Louis Theroux, Dina Asher Smith, Flipz, Allyas, Josiah, Omari. Jermaine, Jordan ‘Zebie’ Boza, Rimes, Rachael Anson, Konz, Jordz Comedy, Leah, Worm, Mark, Merms, Rhys, Brandon, Chef Vicz, Skaps, Smiler, Jose Mourihno, Stylo G, TJ, Melissa Holdbrook-Akpose, Jazzie B, Ian Wright, Trevor Nelson, Clint 419, Wale Adeyemi, Little Simz, Dave, Nella Rose, Julie Adenuga, Jenny Franics. Jade LB, Malorie Blackman, Henriee, Taja No Signal, Huda No Signal, Jojo No Signal, RBC No Signal, David No Signal, Tiana Major9, Gabrielle, Headie One, JME, Megaman, Posty, Tanisha Edwards, Brenda Edwards, Rashid Kasiyre, Daniel Ashville. Yanni Charalambous.

What an incredible list, but outside of the actual tracks itself, we were also blessed with a powerful 'Greatness Monologue' which was written by Wretch 32 and performed by Michaela Cole. The piece celebrated all generations of the black community and really highlighted just how much greatness has been achieved, and is still to be achieved.

All angles of this release were covered and executed to the highest standard, and it is safe to say that it is good to have Stormzy and 0207 Def Jam team back firing on all cylinders.

Be sure to check out 'Mel Made Me Do It' below, and let's hope that Big Mike doesn't leave us waiting to long for more music.
