The MOBO Awards 2020 : The Nominees

The MOBO Awards are back!

The UK’s biggest celebration of Black music and culture will take place on Wednesday 9th December 2020. The ceremony is set to be live-streamed for the very first time on YouTube at 7PM, and broadcasted on BBC One at 10:45PM, with a highlights special available on BBC iPlayer the same night and supporting content within the BBC Sounds app.

The 90-minute awards ceremony will honour the very best of Black culture across music and entertainment. As always, the Awards will be a fun and dynamic event full of special surprises. However, this year, a strong vein of cultural purpose and social commentary will weave through the ceremony as we articulate a vision of the world as it is, but also as we want it to be. In a year where we have raised our voices whether that be in protest, mourning or celebration, it is now time to reflect on 2020 and the years that the MOBO's have missed, and celebrate the incredible talent and achievements.

This year’s ceremony will be hosted by the glorious Maya Jama, and the People's Champ himself, Chunkz.

The show-stopping event will feature music performances from the hottest UK and international artists of today including Headie One, M Huncho, Ms Banks, Tiwa Savage, Kojey Radical and many more.

Now, let's get into it and take a look at this years nominees...
