It seems like the people have been waiting forever for Baby to drop his album.
The QC artist has finally released his highly anticipated album 'My Turn', giving the fans and the streets something to talk about. The rapper spent majority of last year releasing a few singles and running off features. He wanted to take a break from dropping full projects as he dropped three the year before in 2018. The ATL star recently spoke on the wait for his fans "Due to the fact that I haven't dropped in a year and the year that I didn't drop was the year that I blew up - this is a whole different me." The rapper has always remained consistent with not just his music, but the quality of his releases, so the expectations were high for this one.
We are used to receiving pretty large projects from the rapper and 'My Turn' isn't any different, the rapper has put out 20 tracks in total and features some huge names. Lil Wayne, Future, Gunna, Young Thug, Moneybagg Yo and more all show out for Lil Baby. The project has music for everyone on there; the radio people, the streets, the females, which is probably the benefit to having a larger album and the fact your streaming numbers should be higher.
The rapper seems to have a pretty developed mindset for his age, which has been more blatant to see on his press run as we don't usually get to hear him speak too much. He recently pulled up to Joe Budden on his show and even Budden was amazed with his mindset and how he doesn't view him like the rest of the young guys. "I don't care about my own music, I really want to own a label - like Def Jam though. Like Roc Nation. I'd rather go that way, where I manage a Selena Gomez and get 10 percent off it. Where I'm not even on the scene no more."
