She has been labelled as one of the ‘Ones To Watch’ for 2020, and as she embarks on what is set to be an exciting year, Tia Carys fly kicks her way into the decade with her first offering of the season, ‘Figure Me Out’. Making a mean statement of arrival, the record follows on from her heavily supported and bold debut introduction ‘English x Ghana’, which dropped at the end of last year and awoke the UK music scene to her sound.
Tia Carys has an exceptionally refreshing aura and talent, and this new offering see's her really show us what she is capable of. With the debut single proving to be popular, it was vital that the next drop saw her meet the high expectations, and Tia has done exactly that. The production choice in itself breathes energy, intrigue and distinctiveness as the heady beat, skippy high hats and atenteben flute open this one woman show. Although a newcomer to the game, her confidence soars at level 100 as she delivers alternating flows that will have you gripped from the get go.
With the track itself coming in at the finest quality, it was vital the music video matched, and that is why Ray Fiasco got the call to put this one together. As per usual he has created a cinematic piece which is unsurprisingly already picking up the numbers.
