Brand of The Year - FENTY
We are now just 6 weeks away from closing the chapter that is 2019, and it’s only right to look back on the months and see who has been killing it for us this year. ‘Brand of the Year’… That title has to go to one person and that person has to be Rihanna. Fenty has really took over this year, and I’m not just talking about her beauty line or her incredible lingerie but her own luxury house fashion brand under the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy group, being the first female to ever make a brand under this group.
This partnership has made Rihanna America’s richest female musician and one of the wealthiest self-made females under 40, with an ever-growing wealth of $600 million. Majority of which has not came from her music, but her Fenty line. Now the Fenty brand hasn’t been around for long, launching in just May this year. But has since made their mark in the luxury fashion market just like Fenty Beauty has in make-up and Fenty x Savage in the lingerie market. This has been dubbed as “the Fenty effect” and by all means this lady isn’t stopping there.
Her fan based have done their research and noticed Rihanna has since applied to list yet another venture for her Fenty empire, Fenty Skin and is said have to a 10th album in the making.
Rihanna’s newest collection for A/W19 from her luxury fashion brand is entitled ‘City Bloom’. The collection consists of subtle floral print, off the shoulder knits, lots of hoodies and statement boots. The collection is available to purchase on fenty.com and will become available in Selfridges from 25th November.
Let’s take a look at some of my top picks from her newest collection entitled ‘City Bloom’:
