I’m back with another post of trends I’m loving at the minute, but this one being for all the best bits for this party season! If you’re stuck for Christmas party ideas or NYE outfits, then let me give you some idea of the hottest party trends at the minute…
MINI BAGS
So this is the trend I, myself have probably been most invested in over this last year, and not just for this season. We have Jacquemus to thank for this trend with their stunning collection of extremely, not even practical, mini bags. Whilst you may not even be able to fit your iPhone+ in some of these bags, it is still a great accessory to have to add a little extra detail to your outfit… if you don’t mind carrying your phone in your hand that is! Overall, accessories are essential for this party season so this is definitely a must have trend to follow!

CORSETS
Another trend being resurrected from centuries is the corset… and not the uncomfortable, unflattering kind either. There is something a little flirty about wearing underwear as outerwear and this trend has that vibe. Taking a modern twist on the Victorian undergarment this trend is one to make you feel good inside and out. This trend can be dressed all the way up and all the way down, so it suits many different occasions.

PLATFORM HEELS
PLATFORM HEELS ARE BACK! Another trend I am most excited about this year! Making a comeback from the 70’s, this is the perfect style shoe to add a bit of edge to any outfit, whilst elongating the legs! Let’s not forget to mention if you’re not a major heel wearer then a platform heel is a safer option in terms of comfort and support. They are surprisingly easy to walk in, even if they are 6 inches and above in heel length, so you can dance the night away at ease!

Looking for something to stand out in this party season? This head turning trend is it. Feathers is a trend that has been around for centuries, but it’s one that has made a comeback on the catwalk for this season. Symbolizing elegance, glamour and freedom, it is the perfect trend to get creative with.

ORGANZA
Organza is this season’s delicate but bold trend. A trend that can leave little to the imagination due to its sheer fabric but can also add so much texture and character to a look. Gigantic sleeves, oversized bows, and extravagant shapes… it’s just the right amount of OTT you want without overdoing it.
