NEW ALBUM: Lil Kim – 9

Shortly after rocking the BET Awards stage with the medley of her most memorable hit songs, Lil Kim decides to release a project for her fans. Fourteen years on and the Queen Bee has returned after picking up her I Am Hip Hop Award, “I had no idea it would take this long, but it did” she states. The project is certainly one that will be deeply felt by all of the Hip-Hop fans that have really been involved from the early days.

The nine track album contains very diverse features; from Rick Ross to Rich The Kid, Musiq Soulchild and many more. It is also good to see Kim getting down with the times and working with City Girls on this tape. We have got to remember that this is only the first instalment of the project too, according to the female rapper we will receive part 2 during the early part of next year. She says “I have so many songs, I probably recorded anywhere between 30 and 40 tracks.” This project showcases her artistic self that she hasn’t really revealed before, this will surely have fans waiting for next year until part 2 drops.
