We have already been gifted with two full projects from ATL star Future this year, his last studio effort being this month with ‘Save Me’. It seems like we have been waiting for Baby to drop all year, after coming all out at the end of last year, releasing a lot of singles and two projects, he seems to be moving clever with his releases this year. For me he is one of the brightest stars to come out of ATL and his numbers don’t lie, so it is important for him to not fall back into that trap of releasing ‘too much’ music which he has been criticised for in the past. His success has certainly rolled into 2019 as Lil Baby has been a part of the biggest records already this year, but now he has decided to release a solo effort. The rapper turns to fellow Atlanta superstar Future for their collaboration on ‘Out The Mud’ which is available via all streaming platforms.
After announcing that he had work on the way with Pluto, the rapper follows through and gifts us with the new single. Despite only releasing the audio, we are certain that the duo have a visual on the way too, as Baby as previewed several pieces of footage. The title speaks for itself and the track details Baby and Future’s struggles and the come up that they have both experienced growing up in Atlanta. If ‘Out The Mud’ wasn’t enough for you, the new ATL star has confirmed that he has an album on the way, I’m guessing we can expect this within the next few months.
