It's what we've all been waiting for. It has been 3 years since the last Lord Of The Mics, and with the scene producing some seriously gifted talents right now, it was only right that the legendary platform showcased some brand new clashes for us.
The innovative brand has provided a platform and endless opportunity for UK street culture, and the artists within it, for the past 20 years, and it is clear to see that they are still prepared to help shape the culture.
Originally beginning as a DVD box set that captured established MCs using their lyrical prowess to gain the upper hand against each other in a series of ‘clashes’. It has since gone on to become an 'Official Charts Top 10' selling release upon its last two volumes. With a roster of past participants from its previous seven installments that include Skepta, Wiley, Kano & Tinchy Stryder, it comes of no surprise that from the moment founder Jammer started tagging Lord of the Mics on Instagram, fans up and down the country have gone into frenzy.
We've seen rumours including the likes of Skepta and Wiley, all the way through to Drake following his posts about Lord Of The Mics some months ago. Numerous names have been pulled in to conversations about the line-up that will appear for the latest volume of the seminal clashing DVD, but the rumous can now be brought to and end as we have the official line up.
