Lil Pump was arguably one of the most popping rap names throughout 2018, doing huge numbers on his records, performing at the biggest festivals and maintaining such a huge social media following. He has created a wave on the internet in such a short space of time, the one thing fans are desperately waiting for is his debut album. When announced that ‘Harvard Dropout’ would be dropping this month, we have been anticipating a single from the tape. Pump decides that the wait is finally over and releases ‘Racks on Racks’ to give his fans a taste of what to expect on his debut album
No one even clocked the signs when Pump stepped into Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Studio for a recent interview, he randomly started yelling ‘racks on racks on racks’ but no one really knew what he was hinting. It all makes sense now, he also told Zane “This shit fire” “I was in the crib, I was with my boy and we started recording. That was the first on that night.” Pump sticks to his usual formula and recruits Diablo to produce this track and admittedly the rapper keeps his flow tidy as always, he really shows his ability to just ride the beat, despite whether you think his lyrics are basic or not.
