2018 was an excitng year for South London based singer-songwriter, Oscar Jerome, and after remaining consistent all year round, he is back ready to build on the hype by delivering more flawless content. The first drop of the year comes in the form of an extended single entitled 'Misty Head / Sunny Street'.
This new cut comes in support of a short European tour which kicks off with Jerome’s biggest headline show to date at London’s EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) on February 20th.
‘Misty Head / Sunny Street’ dines on an influence of jazz, funk and hip-hop but is delivered with the songwriter’s signature lo-fi grit. Driven by a warped Thundercat-esque bassline, the track rides an intoxicating groove as Jerome’s lysergic guitars and impassioned vocals serenade above a warm bed of technicolour synth hues.
If last year was anything to go by then 2019 is set to be huge for Oscar Jerome, and this new single confirms that thought.
