NEW PLAYLIST: @Drake - MORE LIFE
Drake finally releases his highly anticipated project 'More Life'. Take a listen below.
After a few minor setbacks, the moment that everyone has been waiting for is here. Drake is back with more chune for your head top, as he releases his playlist 'More Life'. The fans have been waiting for this moment ever since his 30th birthday, when he dropped the official trailer with the March release date at the end. The 6ix God has been clever with this project and has made it available for everyone to stream and listen to. It's not just an Apple Music exclusive like some of his other work. Stream 'More Life' below via Spotify, Apple Music and TIDAL.
The 22 track playlist features some very big names, such as; Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Quavo, Travis Scott and more. Despite Drizzy featuring some worldwide stars, he also showcases some of his British influences to the world. UK rap artist Giggs, features on two records 'No Long Talk' and 'KMT', some of his fans may have previously heard 'KMT' from his #BoyMeetsWorldTour. Of course a Drake album wouldn't be the same without Skepta, the pair have been spotted on many occasions with eachother and Drake doesn't hide the fact he rates Skeppy highly, check out Skepta on 'Skepta's Interlude'. His other UK feature comes from 'Blue Lights' singer Jorja Smith, she features on her own interlude and 'Get It Together', in my eyes this is a definite hit and will receive a lot of love from the radio shows. Jorja's fame has happened in such a short space of time and now with her recognition from Drake, there is no doubt about her reaching new heights.
More Life is the follow up from Drake's 'Views' album, but the man from the 6 is insisting that More Life is not an album, but actually a playlist - he describes it as the "evolution of a mixtape". Drakes vision behind this playlist is truly inspiring "The style in which it's being put together is based off our concept that is OVOSOUNDRADIO". He admits that after his 'Views' release he was just inspired and just wanted to keep the music flowing - which we know Drake is best at. Despite him being on a level that cements his place as one of the best artists, he continues to provide for his fans, which not many artists on his level actually do.
