Wingstop turned up the heat at its Bullring Birmingham restaurant over the last week, hosting its very own ‘Ranch Raves’ event - a celebration of music, community and flavour that showcased some of the city's finest talent.

Leaning into the launch of its latest sauces, Wingstop posed one simple question to Birmingham: Are you Team Smoke or Team Heat?

The answer played out through an energetic DJ clash, with two of the city's most exciting selectors going head-to-head inside the packed Bullring venue.

Flying the flag for Team Smoke was the ever-impressive DJ Danni, who delivered a seamless blend of R&B, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats and Amapiano. Having played a key role in the rise of BoxOut, alongside major support slots for the likes of Ne-Yo, Akon, Kaytranada and DJ Waffles, Danni once again demonstrated why she's become one of Birmingham's most in-demand DJs.

Representing Team Heat, Timma T brought the energy with a heavyweight selection spanning UK Funky, Grime, Bashment and Dubstep. As the driving force behind the One More Riddim movement and a familiar voice across platforms including BBC Radio 1Xtra alongside Sir Spyro, Timma showcased exactly why he remains one of the city's most influential tastemakers.

Of course, no sound clash would be complete without a few surprise appearances.

As the evening unfolded, Birmingham collective Local Boyz stormed the venue, with nineteen97, Hunter Bavaro, Katus Myles, Jaycen Spades and Off-Key bringing their unmistakable energy to the event. Rising MC Trikky also stepped up to the mic, adding another layer to an evening that celebrated the depth of talent emerging from the West Midlands.

Beyond the music, guests had the chance to sample Wingstop's brand-new BBQ and Cajun Ranch flavours, pick up exclusive limited-edition merchandise and, of course, enjoy plenty of free wings throughout the night.

More than just a product launch, Ranch Raves felt like a celebration of Birmingham's thriving creative culture. By placing local artists and DJs at the centre of the experience, Wingstop created an event that reflected the city's energy while giving those in attendance a memorable evening of great music, good food and community spirit.
