On the eve of releasing his new album 'Forever Ends Someday', Wesley Joseph reconnects with long-time friend and collaborator Jorja Smith for their latest single, ‘July’.
The track marks a meaningful moment for the Walsall-raised duo. Both artists have gone on to carve out hugely successful creative paths in recent years, but ‘July’ serves as a reminder of the place that shaped them. The collaboration feels like a full-circle moment - two artists reflecting on their roots while continuing to evolve in their artistry.

Written and produced by Wesley Joseph and Jorja Smith, the record also features additional contributions from Al Shux, Dweller, Tev'n and Puma Blue.
The accompanying visual, directed by Wesley Joseph himself, pays tribute to their hometown. Speaking on the video, he explained that it “wouldn’t exist - literally or figuratively - without Walsall town,” dedicating the piece to “the dreamers still looking out the window.”
With 'Forever Ends Someday' set to drop at midnight, ‘July’ adds to a strong run of releases including 'Pluto Baby', 'Peace of Mind' featuring Danny Brown, and 'If Time Could Talk'. If these releases are anything to go by, Wesley Joseph’s upcoming project is shaping up to be a major moment in his artistic journey.
