Nottingham artist Skeete returns with 'Virgo', his most cohesive project to date and a release that brings together the different influences that have shaped his sound over the past four years.

Arriving during Virgo season, the new project finds Skeete leaning further into the blend of smooth R&B and Neo Soul melodies with the infectious rhythms of Dancehall and Afrobeats that have become central to his identity. Rather than sitting neatly within one genre, 'Virgo' moves naturally between these influences, creating a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.

Lyrically, the project delves into intimacy, desire and heartbreak, allowing Skeete to explore the different emotions that can exist within relationships. Sensual moments sit alongside more vulnerable reflections, giving the project a balance between confidence and honesty.

That emotional range is central to what makes 'Virgo' feel like a progression. Skeete's melodic approach remains at the forefront, but there is a greater sense of depth to the storytelling as he explores the highs and lows that come with connection, attraction and letting go.

In just four years, Skeete has established himself as a versatile artist capable of moving comfortably between sounds and influences, building a following that extends well beyond Nottingham.

'Virgo' marks the beginning of another chapter, giving listeners a more complete picture of an artist continuing to develop his sound while staying connected to the qualities that brought them to him in the first place.
