International star Shenseea returns with 'CATALYST', a eight-track EP that sees her explore different sides of her artistry, bringing together dancehall, Afrobeats and R&B across a fresh collection of releases.

Led by ‘Playtime’ featuring Nigerian hitmaker Asake, the project brings an international feel to Shenseea’s unmistakable dancehall sensibility. The collaboration pairs two distinct musical styles, adding another exciting link-up to an already diverse tracklist.

Across the EP, Shenseea moves between introspective moments and more confident, high-energy records. ‘Vulnerability’ offers a more reflective side of her songwriting, while ‘2 Face Gyal’ brings a bolder attitude. Together, the tracks highlight the range she continues to explore as an artist without losing the character that has made her sound so recognisable.

The collaborations extend beyond Asake, with Miami rapper Loe Shimmy joining her on ‘Private’ and dancehall legend Vybz Kartel appearing on ‘Talk To Me Nuh’. Each brings a different flavour to the project, giving 'CATALYST' a wide-ranging feel that reflects Shenseea’s growing international reach.

Having established herself as one of dancehall’s leading global exports, Shenseea continues to embrace new influences while keeping her Jamaican roots firmly in focus. 'CATALYST' captures that balance, bringing together a varied selection of sounds, collaborators and moods across seven tracks.

With Asake, Loe Shimmy and Vybz Kartel alongside her, 'CATALYST' adds another dimension to Shenseea’s catalogue, offering a concise showcase of an artist continuing to expand her musical identity.
