Rapidly emerging as one of the most intriguing voices in modern music, Samara Cyn unveils her latest project, 'Detour' - a seven-track body of work that signals a striking evolution in both sound and vision.

With Detour, Samara leans fully into a world shaped by surrealism, creative freedom, and boundless self-expression. It’s a project that feels intentionally unrestrained, positioning her not just as an artist on the rise, but as a genuine creative outlier carving her own lane.

Across the EP, she explores new sonic territory with confidence, embracing the unconventional while maintaining a sharp sense of identity. Contributions from a tight-knit circle of collaborators, including Ovrkast., Whit Kane, Sherwyn, Two Fresh, Luke Titus, Kendo and Pera, help shape a soundscape that feels fluid, experimental, and deeply immersive.

'Detour' plays like an open invitation into Samara’s universe, where structure is loose, emotion is free-flowing, and creativity exists without limits. It’s this weightless approach that allows each track to breathe, pulling listeners deeper into her world with every listen.

With co-signs from icons such as Denzel Washington, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Doechii, Nas, Doja Cat, Rapsody, Alicia Keys, Isaiah Rashad and Teddy Swims already behind her, 'Detour' feels less like a step forward and more like a statement of arrival.
