Ruger returns with a fresh burst of energy on his latest EP, 'R.U. (Raw & Unfiltered) Vol. 1', a six-track project that once again highlights his ability to push Afrobeats into exciting new territory.
Joined by an international cast of collaborators including Musa Keys, Young Stunna and Brazil's MC Morena, Ruger delivers a body of work that effortlessly blends Afro-House, Baile Funk, R&B, Afro-Dancehall, Kizomba and Gospel. The result is a project that feels both adventurous and unmistakably true to his artistic identity.

Throughout 'R.U. (Raw & Unfiltered) Vol. 1', Ruger showcases the versatility that has made him one of the leading voices in the new generation of African music. Each track explores a different sonic landscape while remaining connected by his signature vocal delivery and infectious songwriting.
The release follows another landmark period in Ruger's career. After becoming one of the 1,000 most-followed artists on Spotify in 2025, he continued his global ascent with sold-out shows across the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia, building on the momentum created by his critically acclaimed sophomore album, 'Blownboy Ru'.
Fresh from that worldwide run, 'R.U. (Raw & Unfiltered) Vol. 1' signals that Ruger has no intention of slowing down. Confident, expansive and packed with global influences, the EP reinforces his position as one of Afrobeats' most exciting exports while continuing to broaden the genre's reach across the world.
