Manchester-raised singer-songwriter Pip Millett continues her return to music with 'Mad', the latest release from an artist gradually reintroducing herself following an extended period away.

After releasing 'Tell Jimmy I’m Fine' in 2024, Pip stepped away from music for two years before beginning her return at the start of September with 'Soon Enough'. She quickly followed with 'Flowers', a collaboration with Gotts Street Park, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the singer-songwriter.

'Mad' continues that run, bringing together a group of musicians and collaborators to shape another understated yet captivating addition to her catalogue. The track was written alongside Dom Valentino, with Oscar Jerome contributing guitar and Jordan Waré adding strings. Their contributions give the record a rich, layered foundation while leaving room for Pip's distinctive vocals to remain at the centre.

There is a sense of restraint to the production that allows the songwriting to carry the weight, creating a track that feels intimate without becoming overly sparse.

Following a lengthy absence, each release has offered another glimpse into where Pip is creatively. 'Mad' continues that gradual reintroduction, reminding listeners of the qualities that have made her music resonate while giving space for a new chapter to take shape.
